Modern design aesthetics were all that this client professed that they wanted incorporated in their Chapel Hill home remodel project. When the family came to Cabinet and Closet Depot, all drawers on the lower cabinets and open shelving on the upper cabinets were all this client raved about and wanted to see in their new Kitchen. Designer BARIS included all of the “MODERN DESIGN FEATURES AND ELEMENTS” this particular client wanted. The standard wall and base cabinets in the existing Kitchen made this space feel small and really closed in. When working with the client, the suggestion to have open shelving completely changed the feel of the space. The Petit Brown cabinets from Forevermark are what this family chose, which really adds to the simplicity of the design, along with the Riad White porcelain tiles from The Tile Shop and Venato Extra quartz. From the warm toned cabinet color and brass metals of the hardware to the slim shaker style of the doors of this modern Kitchen design is subtle and minimal.
