Showroom: Raleigh, NC
Designer: Jesse
Cabinet Line: Forevermark
Door Style: Uptown White of the Town Collection

This north Raleigh kitchen remodeling project featured an absolute breathtaking transformation!  The Benyon family first approached Cabinet and Closet Depot to get ideas and inspiration for a kitchen remodel in their newly purchased colonial style home.  After an initial showroom consultation with Jesse, they were able to develop a rough design, and were anxious to move forward!  The original design of their kitchen was more traditional and featured a formal dining area, and a cramped, closed-in kitchen area.  The first thing to be done was to remove the wall between the kitchen and formal dining room, opening up the space into one large room for cooking and entertaining.  Not stopping there, we also widened the existing doorway into their family room, making the back living area of their home even more open and spacious.  From there, Jesse worked with the Benyon’s on finalizing details that included Uptown White cabinetry by Forevermark.  They decided on a cool neutral grey quartz by Vicostone called “Grey Savoie”.  This solid, contemporary countertop juxtaposed with the ornamental tile backsplash (turned on its side for a diamond effect) and created a beautiful mix of old and new styling.  From the beginning, it was clear that his family wanted to blend their traditional roots with a modern, contemporary feel.  Jesse added a hutch in the dining area for additional storage, featured two pantries for optional food storage, and created balance and sophistication with a mix of traditional base and wall cabinets, and wide drawer banks.  The Benyon’s have found their forever-home, and now it is complete with a kitchen that will be beautiful for years to come!
